Costco is offering a decent discount on Spafinder gift cards through tomorrow (November 30) which could be particularly helpful if you have an upcoming stay planned at Miraval properties.

30% off Spafinder gift cards is generally as good as it gets, but you can make the deal even more rewarding by paying with a card that earns more at warehouse clubs. The Citi Dividend and ABOC Platinum Rewards cards are both offering 5% this quarter at Costco.com (note that the 5% rate is for online purchases only, not in-store).

Even if you aren’t normally a spa treatment kind of person (and COVID restrictions where you live might mean you aren’t able to use them locally right now), if you have an upcoming stay planned at Miraval properties then these could be worth considering as you can redeem the gift cards for treatments there (but not to pay for the actual stay).

Hyatt is running a great Buy One Get One deal through the end of the year which means a two night stay for two people only costs a total of 65,000 points versus the usual cost of 130,000 points. Even better, Hyatt is offering a 25% points rebate for cardholders (or 15% for non-cardholders), so your net cost for those two nights could be as low as 48,750 points.

If you’re traveling solo, the cost is even cheaper as Hyatt adds 20,000 points for the second guest. For only one person, the cost is 45,000 points for a two night stay, or 33,750 points after a 25% rebate.

In addition to meals being included as part of the reservation, you also get $175 per person to spend on activities, spa treatments, etc. Note that the $175 is only given on the first (i.e. paid) night with that promotion. If you were wanting to spend more than that on your first night or have any spa treatments on your second night, saving 30% by paying with Spafinder gift cards offers some great savings. Depending on how much you’d be intending to spend on treatments, buying a Costco membership for this deal alone could end up being worth your while.
