TopCashBack is offering double cash back today at many retailers, including higher-than-average payouts at Sak’s Fifth Ave (16%), eBags (20%), Adidas (6%), and more — with many of those stacking with other current offers, including an offer to earn a bonus $25 cash back for Frequent Miler readers who are new to TopCashBack. See more stacking opportunities below.
The Deal
- Double cash back at select retailers through TopCashBack today only (4-9-18)
- Direct link to this promotion
Quick Thoughts / Stacking Opportunities
Most of these payouts aren’t quite historical highs, but are better-than-average. What’s more, there are some decent stacking opportunities through:
- New TopCashBack signup offer
- Amex Offers
- Apple Pay offers
New TopCashBack Signup Offer
TopCashBack is running a promotion exclusively for Frequent Miler readers: new members can earn $25 bonus cash back when signing up by April 10, 2018 and then earning $10 in cash back. We are not receiving any commission on this offer — we opted to pass the entire payout on to readers rather than take any piece of your earnings. See this post for more on this deal.
Amex Offers
Looking at our Current Amex Offers page, we can see that there is currently an Amex Offer for $50 or 5,000 Membership Rewards back on $250+ at Sak’s Fifth Ave (see your offer for full details).
Stacked with 16% back, that would mean $250 in merchandise for a net $160 (or a better deal if you have the Membership Rewards offer and value those points at more than 1 cent each).
There is also a Current Amex Offer for eBags good for either $15 or 1500 points back on $75. You may be able to stack two offers by purchasing a $75 gift card to trigger one offer and then check out with $150 in merchandise using your gift card and another Amex loaded with the offer. Note that eBags no longer allows gift cards to be combined via chat.
Stacked with 20% back through TopCashBack today, you could snag a pretty good deal.
Apple Pay Promo
We recently posted about a new Apple Pay promo that is on through April 18th (See: Good stacking opportunity w/ new Apple Pay promo). One of the deals in that post is 15% off at Adidas. TopCashBack is offering 6% cash back today. You should be able to go through TopCashBack and checkout with Apple Pay to combine the two deals. You may even be able to further stack one of these two Apple Pay deals:
1,000 Ultimate Rewards points w/ 5 purchases via Apple Pay
New offer for Apple Pay: Spend $5, get $2 back 5x [Targeted]
Bottom line
Extra cash back is always nice if you were already planning on making a purchase. As always, use a tool like CashBackMonitor.com to compare rates.
Of course I just made a big purchase yesterday from Ebags! Only got 15% cash back from GoCashback. #firstworldproblems
Will using their coupon codes invalidate the cash back at eBags? There’s also a 20% off coupon code (travel) on the website.
I’m not positive. Charlie at Running With Miles says that he thinks that code will work.
