Did you get a second $100 credit for the FHR booking? I know you generally don’t for back to back Edit or FHR bookings, but since it was two different programs, I’ve wondered how they treat those.
Yes
Do you still get the credit for either programs if you book rooms for others?
Most programs, yes. While outside the scope of this article, it’s worth noting that similar benefits are available via Virtuoso and the Visa Infinite Travel/Concierge.
There’s really no debate on FHR vs. The Edit. FHR has more options, doesn’t require two nights in most cases, includes guaranteed 4PM late checkout, and the $300 credit is better than $250.
Unless of course you want to, you know, use points, which is sort of the point of this website. In which case there is indeed no debate, The Edit is much better (even with recent nerfs)
