I’ll add my $.02. I had a subscription and I signed up for alerts for a trip from LAX to HND. The subscription expired, but I kept getting notifications. Two days before my trip, I got a notification for a business class seat an American for only 75,000 miles. Typically those were going for 150,000 to 200,000. I booked through Alaska. It was great. I never would have known about it without the notifications.
Seats.aero is my favorite tool! So how is americam business class compared to say Air France or Condor. I have Condor flights JFK to CDG via FRA soon at 48k atmos points. Considering changing to AirFrance direct for 60k, but also wondering how American compares in overall lounge and flight/food experience. I hear a lot of people dont vale US overseas flight experience.
I’ve flown Condor business class to Europe 5+ times, and American business class (lie-flat) to S America a handful of times (ie not to the same destinations). The in-flight experience for Condor (ie after you board) is great and food is better than AA i think. However, AA Flagship lounge in MIA is good (plenty of space, interesting food) — better than the lounges than Condor has access to, in my (limited) experience. Having said this, i wouldn’t hesitate to fly either to Europe (in fact, have AA business to Europe booked for later in the year). Have not flown Air France business since 2021, when a lot of things were different due to Covid protocols.
Thanks Viv, good info! It looks like AF award is not available, and it appears the new Condor lounge at JFK is now open. So hopefully we will have decent weather to fly to and out of JFK. Have fun in Europe!
1. Pointsyeah will let you set Max Taxes to filter out junk BA awards with mega surcharges, does seats.aero do that?
2. Do you know if sears.aero or any of the other seat searching subscriptions code as Software for the USBank Triple Cash (sshhh if you know just say yes! because they will take away this goodie from my sock drawer card)

You can only filter max taxes in search mode, not in explore mode. I often switch back and forth between search and explore mode because the functions in the two modes are complementary to each other. (I do wish explore mode had the tax filter.)
