You can book Hilton FNCs online using the chat feature without calling in. Helpful when using P2’s account!

I booked The Wentworth Mansion in Charleston, SC when still available on Hyatt points. Believe it was 40,000 Hyatt points per night. Most likely my first and last SLH point redemption. Hilton points can be difficult to accumulate.

Pierre Tong

I just booked it last night for June 2025 using a FNC. That was the only time there was a Saturday night available

CJH

I booked 3 nights when still bookable with Hyatt points. Circa 1886 excellent restaurant on property. Breakfast was included in the room rate served in the same restaurant. You will enjoy your 1 night. And WOW having to book a year in advance.

Nick!
That is a fantastic tip about fare classes and the Chase portal. We saw that too, esp. compared to the Capital One portal. TY.
BTW, we stayed at two 5* SLH hotels in Europe this past time, booked through Hyatt before that ended. Was amazing value.

Concerning the Amex Platinum guests for lounges, can a guest come in the Delta lounges when flying Delta?

Greg The Frequent Miler

Not for free, no

Kunal

@Greg did you claim any reimbursement from American/credit cards for delayed and canceled flights?

Greg The Frequent Miler

No. I probably should have but I was just laser focused on how to get there in time

Kunal

I think you still can get compensated and from my knowledge get all of the AA miles back.

Greg The Frequent Miler

Thanks. I’ll have to look into that!
