A bunch of new Amex Offers appeared yesterday as part of Member Week. Nick covered some of the best offers yesterday, but there’s an additional offer which might not be showing up when logging in that you can enroll in nevertheless. This one is giving $25 back when spending $75+ at participating Resy restaurants and can be redeemed a couple of times.
The Deal
- Spend $75+ at participating restaurants & get $25 back with a Resy Amex Offer.
- Direct link to registration.
Key Terms
- Enroll by October 13, 2023.
- Redeem by December 8, 2023.
- Offer valid in-restaurant only at 200+ select US Resy restaurants.
- Eligible Resy locations vary from campaign to campaign; previously eligible Resy restaurants may not be eligible for this offer. Visit resy.com/memberweek for a list of participating restaurants.
- Purchases made at restaurant locations not listed as eligible at resy.com/memberweek will not qualify.
- Orders placed online, in-app, or through third parties are excluded.

- Valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
- Limit of 2 statement credits (total of $50 back) per Card Member.
Quick Thoughts
For some reason this Resy Amex Offer isn’t initially showing up when logging in to my Amex account nor on my wife’s, so I suspect the same thing is happening to other people too. Despite that, there is a way to enroll in the offer.
There’s a link above in the ‘The Deal’ section which takes you to the Amex Connect site. Once there, click ‘Add To Card’ and enter your card details. If it’s an Amex card issued by a third party bank, that should enroll you in the offer automatically. If it’s an Amex-issued Amex card, it’ll prompt you to log in to your account. Once you’ve done that, you’ll be able to choose which card you want to add the offer to, so it’d be worth adding it to a card that offers bonused spend on dining (e.g. Amex Gold, Hilton Aspire, etc.) or on a card where you’re working on a minimum spend requirement.
Be aware that this offer is only valid at 200+ restaurants in big cities; you can find the full list of eligible dining establishments on this landing page. As the terms of the Amex Offer note, you don’t have to make a reservation via Resy; you just have to pay for your meal with the card.
The $75 spending threshold is based on how much you pay, so if the cost of your meal is less than $75 initially but comes to at least $75 once tax and tip is added, that’ll be sufficient to earn the statement credit from the offer.
If you don’t plan on eating at eligible restaurants in the next couple of months but do plan on doing that at a later date, if the restaurant(s) sell gift cards you should be able to buy $75 gift cards to lock in the 33.33% savings from this offer. You can redeem the offer twice, so if you have a partner with Amex cards too, that’s a total of $100 savings on $300 of spend you could get.
I’m not sure if spending $150 in one go will get you $50 in savings or if that spend has to be done in two separate transactions. I suspect the former, but I’m not certain about that.
The restaurants on RESY are overrated and overpriced. Id’ rather spend my money at a ma and pa establishment over those anyday!
My read of the t&c’s – “Get a $25 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $75 in ONE OR MORE in-restaurant purchases” [All caps added] – is that it’s $75 in total purchases, not a single purchase, so $150 in one transaction should earn the full $50 in credits.
That’s definitely the case for spending $75 in more than one transaction, but I’m not certain if that’ll be the case for spending $150 in a single transaction. I suspect it’ll work, but I’m not certain.
I used this offer and spent more than $150 in a single transaction at one of the qualifying restaurants. I saw a statement credit for +$50 the following day.
