A couple of new Amex Offers appeared late last week that can save you a decent amount of money when staying at Choice’s Cambria and Ascend Collection brands.

Quick Thoughts
Ascend Collection and Cambria are two of Choice’s higher end brands, so they’re a better quality stay than other Choice brands like EconoLodge, Rodeway Inn, and Quality Inn.
The Cambria offer has the best return seeing as you’ll get $100 back on $300 spend, although the Ascend Collection offer of only $50 back has a lower spending threshold of $200. Taxes and fees for your stay do count towards the spending threshold in addition to the base room rate, as do other expenses charged to your room like parking, pet fees, meals and drinks, etc.
If your Ascend Collection stay will cost $400+ or your Cambria stay $500+ and you have these offers on more than one household card, you can ask the hotel to split the payment across two or more cards to earn multiple statement credits, provided the amount charged to each card hits the $200 or $300 spending thresholds for the Ascend and Cambria offers respectively.
