Another thing to consider is that some people are still afraid to leave large balances in the BILT program.

At the time of the Japan Airlines bonus there were still lots of operational issues and many people were afraid so I transferred 300,000 to Japan knowing full well if that they would expire in three years- Hard limit.

What I didn’t know was that searching for Japan Flights has proved to be impossible for me. I have spent literally hours watching YouTube videos and tutorials, read blogs in addition to FM – which I have read completely – and I still can’t find any way to get reasonable search results.

At this point, I would gladly take a suboptimal redemption and walk away.

I realize that lots of people get great value, but I just can’t find any good uses at all

Speaking of bonuses, FM has been pretty liberal with them recently. This is the third time I’ve gotten a bonus on a 20 minute Coffee Break segment — 50% this time!

Even without a transfer bonus, how is it earning 3x/4x on non-bonused spending for Hyatt?

2x- base, 3x with points accel, 4.33x with points accel and bilt cash paying for mortgage

And, 4x on Rent Day (up to $500 on Palladium).

Some are scared that Bilt will go BK (I’m not saying you). So, they avoid Bilt. There is zero risk to someone who transfers points every month.
