There’s a new targeted Amex Offer out today for Starwood Preferred Guest: Spend $300 at SPG hotels, get $60 back. Note that this offer is only valid in the US and US territories and will not work at Marriott properties even though the expiration date is after the programs merge.

The Deal

  • New targeted Amex Offer: Spend $300+ on room rate and room charges at SPG Hotels and Resorts, get a $60 statement credit

Key Details

  • Only valid at properties in the US and US territories
  • Expires 9/4/18
  • Excludes Marriott brand properties

Quick Thoughts

If you have any upcoming stays, it’ll certainly be great to get $60 back – but make sure to note that this one is only valid in the US and US territories. Still, it amounts to 20% back on $300 spend. I found this offer on my Business Platinum card and both SPG cards.

While the loyalty programs are set to merge in August (See: Marriott SPG Ritz Transition Guide), the name of the new combined loyalty program will not come until 2019. Therefore, I expect that this offer will only work at the SPG properties listed even after the points side of things combines in August.

As always, we have added this and other offers to our Current Amex Offers database.
