This post is intended to be a resource for those looking to buy gift cards at Staples or Staples.com. The table below shows each gift card currently offered by Staples, by type. For each gift card, I’ve listed whether it is available in-store, or via staples.com (email and/or mail). Visa and Amex gift cards have fees regardless of whether you buy in-store or online (Visa only online). Physical gift cards sent by mail also usually have fees of $1.99 each. Gift cards sent via email have no fees.

Staples has physical cards for TJ Maxx
Hi I was wondering if your able to purchase a prepaid Visa card with a store merchandise credit? Was looking online at other forums but haven’t been successfull in locating anything. Would be great if you were able to help . Thanks in advance.
Most likely not. Most Staples employees are trained not to allow buying gift cards with store gift cards or merch. credit.
Can someone confirm that around August 2015, Staples has stopped to carry Amazon.com giftcard in their store? My local Staples doesn’t have it anymore. I asked several times on different occasions and the employees stating that they will not carry Amazon.com giftcard anymore among with other giftcard. So I’m assuming this apply to all Staples store then?
I just tried to use a Staples eGC to buy a merchant GC on staples.com, but couldn’t make the page accept code. Guess that’s not possible?

Can you use a Staples gift card to buy other non-prepaid gift cards, like iTunes, Amazon, Shell, etc.?
In-store it is possible if the cashier allows it, but many/most are trained not to allow it.
