20% off these gift cards is a decent discount and could be profitable for reselling depending on the rates available to you.
You can save even more by paying with the right credit card. The Chase Ink Plus (no longer available) and Ink Cash credit cards earn 5x/5% respectively at office supply stores, so those are always a good option if you have either of them. Don’t forget though that there’s a 10% Staples Amex Offer that’s good on up to $500 of spend. That Amex Offer is around until the end of June, so that’s an opportunity to save more if you haven’t already maxed it out.
This deal will definitely be available in-store, but it remains to be seen as to whether it’ll also be available online. Staples’s Visa and Mastercard gift card deals aren’t made available online, but their third party gift card deals (such as for Gap gift cards) sometimes are.
