Quick Thoughts
This appears to be a targeted offer as my wife got an email about it whereas I didn’t (at least not yet anyway). Getting $25 back when spending $250 is a good offer seeing as that’s an effective 10% cashback rate, but it gets better than that. That’s because digital wallets are one of the 5% categories on the Discover It card this quarter and the $25 bonus cashback is on top of that.
That means that if you’re targeted for this promo and spend $250, you’ll earn $25 bonus cashback as well as 5% cashback ($12.50) for a total of $37.50 cashback. That’s a great return on such a low amount of spend which makes this offer worth taking advantage of.

Does this stack on the current extra 4% targeted promotion running through 9/30? Theoretically, you can get 5% rotating category spend + 4% extra targeted offer (up to $2,000 spend I believe) + another 10% extra (up to $250 spend).
