The United shopping portal is running a new promotion this week that’s giving 500 bonus miles when spending $150 or more.

- During the “Fall Bonus” offer, which runs from 10/3/2022 through 10/9/2022 at 11:59:59 pm ET (the “Bonus Period”), Member will earn a one-time bonus of 500 MileagePlus bonus award miles on qualifying purchases made through the MileagePlus Shopping mall or from purchases made through MileagePlus Shopping in-store offers.
- This one-time bonus award will be based on Member’s cumulative qualifying purchases made during the Bonus Period: Earn 500 miles for qualifying purchases of at least $150 or more. “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.

- Please allow up to 6-8 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus award miles to post to your MileagePlus Shopping account.
Quick Thoughts
Earning 500 bonus miles isn’t the biggest win you’ll get this year, but it’s a nice bonus if the United shopping portal is already offering a decent rate for the retailer(s) you’re planning on shopping at.
One of the useful features of the United portal is that they have a card-linked program, so you can earn this bonus for in-store purchases at eligible retailers in addition to online purchases.
