Map of Marriott Category Changes Effective 3/5/2019

Greg wrote about the best places to use your free night certificates before and after the price increases on 3/5, but if you’re a visual person you may also want to check this post out. Maximizing City National Bank Crystal Visa Infinite Points (1.3¢ In Real Value)

The CNB Crystal Visa may well be the best card you can’t get, but if you’ve got it available to you it is strongly worth considering. Assuming it does make sense for you, being able to consistently get 1.3c per point in value should probably be of interest if you’re making use of the card’s 3x bonus categories. Read this post from Doctor of Credit about why you want to book travel through the concierge.

When Do Airlines Open Award Seats?

If you want to book the most desirable award seats, you have to do so in advance. That preferably means at the moment the awards are released. This post from One Mile at a Time will give you key details in understanding the process, though you’ll probably need to do some trial and error to figure out exactly when your preferred seats will be released.

That’s it for this week around the web. Check back soon for this week’s last chance deals.
