You Can Transfer Brex Points To Crypto, But You Shouldn’t

6

This post will be short and sweet. Brex has launched the ability to redeem your points for Bitcoin or Ethereum, but even ignoring whether or not you should put money into cryptocurrency, this is a “deal” you should run screaming from.

Bad deal
I don’t think this is what Brex was hoping for when they tried to come up with a screaming deal

The reason it’s such a terrible deal is because for every 1,000 Brex points you redeem, you’ll be getting $7 of buying power for Bitcoin or Ethereum. 1,000 Brex points is worth $10 when redeemed as cash, so you’d be better off simply redeeming as cash and buying crypto with that than to immediately lose 30% of its value for the privilege of having Brex buy it for you.

I wish I’d actually funded the account after going through all the nonsense they wanted for me to prove my LLC exists— has been around 20 years.
Now I’ve got no Brex points . That means I can redeem my zero Brex points for $0
Does your post mean that redeeming my 0 points for crypto is still worse than $0 or 0 Jet Blue points?
Where’s the Caveman guy when I need his help?

They will give you 70 cents for a dollar! Nice.

What is the best value for Brex Points – I think it is transfer to Jetblue – the points there are worth at least 1.3c each and do not expire – at least for now
