Just a reminder that this is still alive. Stacks nicely with that $150 50″ 4K TV that’s listed in our Black Friday Deals post and I still see available for pick up at many stores.
Shopping portal Retailmenot is offering 10% cash back on Best Buy’s Black Friday items (many of which are already on sale) up to $70 cash back. While those with a Samsung phone (or who know someone with a Samsung phone) can get 20% back on many items at Best Buy, the Samsung deal has a lot of exclusions that do not appear to apply to the Retailmenot deal, so it’s worth comparing terms. Either way, this would stack with the Amex Offer for Best Buy for additional savings.

Quick Thoughts
The Samsung Pay deal is better if you’re buying items that qualify since it offers 20% back up to $100 per transaction. However, that deal excludes things like computers, tablets, and gaming hardware, many of which are featured in the current Black Friday ad.
If you have your heart set on one of the items excluded by Samsung Pay (and/or don’t have access to Samsung Pay), getting 10% back would obviously be superior. Just keep in mind that the max you can earn through Retailmenot is $70 back and it is not clear whether that is per transaction or cumulative; I’d assume cumulative and not order more than $700 worth of items through Retailmenot). I believe that all of the items listed here in the Black Friday ad should qualify based on my read of the terms (though don’t quote me as I have only ever used Retailmenot when looking for coupon codes).
If you have one of the current Best Buy Amex Offers good for $30 or 3,000 Membership Rewards points back on a $300+ purchase, the deal would be sweetened further yet. That makes for a good potential stack on already-discounted stuff.
If you make any great finds in the stuff on sale, let us know in the comments.
amex offer link in post goes to samsung pay deal
Thank you! Fixed.
