UPDATE #1: We are adding new cities as we find them — there are now fares starting from $1795!
UPDATE #2: Oneworld pricing appears to either be dead or extremely limited from Atlanta, but still alive on many dates from Pittsburgh. SkyTeam availability still appears to be very strong as of 2:30pm Eastern time. This fare sale is not likely to last, so we recommend booking if you find dates that work for you.
We have discovered an all-out business class fare war on all three alliances from a wide range of cities in the US to London and Paris from $1799 round trip, with other cities possible/likely. I am adding dates and cities as we find them. Even better prices may be possible by Extreme Stacking British Airways discounts to save big.
Additionally, Alaska Airlines is offering large bonuses for travel on British Airways in premium cabins — I believe most of the British Airways fares would be “I” fares that should earn 250% mileage flown on Alaska before any elite bonuses). For example, Detroit to London with a stop in Chicago each way should earn about 21,000 redeemable miles before any elite bonuses. You might be able to stack the incredible value of the American Express Business Platinum 50% rebate (Update: This benefit has expired. As of June 1, 2017, the pay-with-points rebate has been updated to a 35% rebate with an annual cap of 500,000 rebated points) with Alaska’s bonuses to create yourself a nice little mileage run on this sale.
Here are a few finds from Google Flights — all showing May and June or June and July, but pricing is through the end of the schedule on many routes.

I can’t find anything from PDX/SEA/SFO for July/August under 3-3.5K.
I have never been able to replicate these finds on google flights. What am I doing wrong?
I have not yet tried the airline sites directly though.
This post was from March – more than 6 months ago. Most airfare sales last from a few hours to a few days. These prices are long gone unfortunately. Peak summer travel also tends to be more expensive.
However, airfares fluctuate all the time. I’d advise you to take a look at our post on how to find great business class fares work Google Flights and just check fares periodically (and subscribe to our Instant post alerts to get emailed when we post sales). Best of luck!

I continue to find availability out of smaller markets. For example, Delta from ATL-BCN from June 6-13th is over $3K — but if you drive 3 hours to originate in Columbia, SC, you’ll connect to the same flight (CAE-ATL-BCN) for $1799. If your preferred airport isn’t available, check others within a driving distance you’d accept.
Good stuff. I need to visit London the week of Memorial Day, so this prompted me to go and see if United had any bargains.
And I just got round trip PDX-LHR via SFO for $2509, booked directly with United. Departures on Tuesday and Wednesday only. So that’s leaving two days earlier than I otherwise would have booked and returning one day later, but at less than half the price.
$2500 for west coast to London, on the 747 upper deck!
Many thanks for the post.
Nice! Congrats.
Here’s the ones I found re United PDX-LHR. It looks like depart Tuesday or Wednesday and stay 9 or 12 nights.

One World availability is severely limited – prices are not available after click through.
I just checked — I’m sure there is less now than when we posted it, but I still see departures from Atlanta every Sunday and Monday with returns Monday through Thursday almost every week through the end of the schedule I think.
That starts in late May I think. Might have to play a bit with departure dates, but I think there’s still availability out there.
Update: You may be right. Those initial prices on OW flights from Google Flights may no longer be bookable. Checking into this.
Added Greenville/Spartanburg to Barcelona for $1795. Madrid ~$1950, maybe more.
Added Houston to Barcelona for $1799 on SkyTeam — locations throughout the UK including London, Aberdeen, and Edinburgh available for just over $2k.
Phoenix is also available for just over $2k to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Phoenix is hot — $1799 to Barcelona and $1900-just over $2k to Madrid, London, Dublin, Stockholm — maybe others as well!
Appears the prices on One World have jumped from ~$2k to ~$2200.
