On the heels of this morning’s terrific airfare sale for British Airways business class, Secret Flying is reporting an absolutely amazing airfare available: business class round trip from Vancouver to Sydney, Australia for under $600. I’m seeing a number of dates that look available on Google flights, but the only ones I’ve found bookable so far are the ones being listed by Secret Flying.
Note that I do see these flights available via Amex Travel, meaning that they would be an amazing use of the Business Platinum pay with points rebate.
I haven’t checked, but I imagine you may also find them via the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal and Citi Thankyou portal, enabling you to use the currency of your choice.
This price appears to be available on select dates between now and December of 2017.
See How to find great business class fares using Google Flights for more information on using Google Flights, and remember that you have 24 hours to cancel through most online travel agencies. Don’t hesitate, this one won’t last.

[…] I’m used to being able to get deal alerts on my phone and do quick research so I can post a business class error fare sale while I’m walking around an aquarium with the family (true story), so I didn’t know if I’d be able to handle going back to the stone ages of […]

I managed to book shortly after SecretFlying first posted. Went back to see if I could find for some other family friends just minutes ago but nothing, not even on the smaller site I booked thru. I have received conf# so I’m hoping it will stick. Verified on ANA site and my info is there and have even selected my seats.
This deal literally died in front of my eyes. I saw it on the Chase travel portal using my Chase Sapphire Reserve card. When I went to book, it froze. Went back to the search page, fare were back to $5000+ per ticket.
Someone in the Frequent Miler Insiders Facebook group just reported successfully buying a couple of minutes ago through an online travel agency. You probably won’t find it via Expedia or Priceline, but if you look for some smaller online travel agencies, it’s possible you may still find this available somewhere. Maybe try Skyscanner. I’m on mobile, so it’s difficult search the moment.
This appears to be dead now
I’m seeing some biz class flights from Vancouver to Melbourne for around the same price!
