Quick Thoughts
The 40% transfer bonus means every 1,000 points you transfer becomes 1,400 Marriott points. With our current Marriott Reasonable Redemption Value of 0.72 cents per point, this is like getting only 1 cent per point value from Membership Rewards. That’s not good at all. That said, if you have a high value Marriott award in mind, this could be an easy way to get enough points even if it’s not the best way to maximize value.
