I converted a Freedom card to SapphireR in June. I got my $300 travel credit immediately and used it. My annual fee was charged Oct 1. It says my travel credit will reset July 1. Seems odd that my AF and TC aren’t aligned. Is this common?
It’s likely that your annual fee date is based on the opening date of the original card. Did you open the Freedom card in the September-October time frame?
I think chase already has some delay on the annual fee if you make a product change. I product changed my Marriott card to ritz Carlson on middle or late October. I did not see the annual fee posted until March. The next annual fee also did not posted until March.
