Frequent Miler's latest team challenge, Million Mile Madness, is happening now! Follow us as Greg, Nick, and Stephen compete to earn 1 Million SAS miles by flying 15 airlines before November 23rd. Who will complete the challenge with the most Speed, Affordability, and Style?
We knew it was coming this year, but we didn’t know exactly when. Now it’s here: those with premium Chase Ultimate Rewards cards such as Sapphire Preferred, Sapphire Reserve, and Ink Business Preferred can now transfer Ultimate Rewards points one to one to Air Canada Aeroplan.
Air Canada Aeroplan is a great addition to Chase’s transfer partner line-up. Like United Airlines, Air Canada is a Star Alliance member and therefore can be used to book Star Alliance awards (e.g. fly Air Canada, ANA, EVA Air, Lufthansa, Swiss, Turkish, United, and many more). Often, though, you’ll find Air Canada’s award pricing to be much cheaper than United’s especially for long distance premium cabin awards. Plus, Air Canada includes additional partners such as Etihad and allows flights on these partners to be mixed in with Star Alliance awards.

You can also sign up for the Chase Aeroplan card waitlist to get 10,000 points in addition to the launch offer (which isn’t detailed).

“ The Waitlist Offer is only valid for participants who sign up for the waitlist program prior to November 8, 2021. To qualify for the bonus Aeroplan points offered, an eligible application for the Chase Aeroplan Card must be received by Chase by no later than February 15, 2022 through the application link provided in the waitlist email.”
Yep, I’m going to publish that deal separately.
Any rumors on Aeroplan cards? I have been waiting for the Aeroplan cards!
Best guess is that the cards are coming mid-November since the offer that J.J. refers to requires signup by Nov 8.
