Quick Thoughts
Just For U deals on Visa gift cards come in a couple of varieties. Some allow you to buy variable load cards, while others require that you buy fixed-value cards.
These two offers require that you buy fixed-value cards – $100 denominations for one deal and $50 denominations for the other. Although that means your overall bonused spend potential is less, it’s still a good deal because both offers are instantly profitable.
With the $100 Visa gift card deal, you’d normally pay $11.90 in activation fees, so the $15 discount turns that into a profit of $3.10. With the $50 Visa gift card deal, you’d normally pay $9.90 in activation fees, so the $10 discount turns that into a profit of $0.10.

I can’t add the Visa gift card digital coupons 🙁
I was able to add the MC before.
They often pull the digital coupons early, so it looks like that’s what’s happened here. If you already loaded the coupons, they’ll still be there.
Any data points regarding Amex Platinum 10x supermarkets 6 month period and clawbacks welcomed.
I am extremely suspicious that, despite being “Just For Me”, others are able to take advantage of these offers as well.
Lately these have been showing up on Sundays (off cycle from the usual weekly specials). This time it pops up on Wednesday, with the other usual grocery sales.
There’s a Chase offer for Safeway as well, expires 2/14 for me, that could be stacked.
Only 1 week to use this time instead of the usual 2.
I updated/clipped my Randall’s app coupons yesterday, to go today. This GC coupon was not there yesterday, you saved me. Thanks!

Is it better to use the Visa gift card as a debit card payment instead as a credit card for both in-instore and online?
Do you know if the $100 deal works if I purchase a variable Style visa gift card specifying an amount of $100? That would be great.
Offer specifically calls out two $100 vgc, so I doubt it. Sometimes they will say simply $200 in vgc which will work with variables.

any tips on searching for these locations across all of the above mentioned brands?
Go to Safeway.com, then click ‘Change’ where it says ‘Shopping at…’. Enter your zip code and that should show you any stores near you that are part of the Just For U program.
