Amex Blue Business Plus Offer: 75K points, no lifetime language (targeted)

41

Another targeted offer is available for the Blue Business Plus (BBP) card. Those folks who are targeted will earn 75,000 Membership Rewards points after $6,000 in purchases in the first 4 months.

In terms of points per dollar spent, this is one of the best offers that we’ve ever seen and is very good compared to what’s been available historically. The application terms for the offer do not seem to include typical once-in-a-lifetime language, so even if you have had the card before, you should be eligible for the welcome bonus (if targeted).

The Deal

  • Earn 75,000 Membership Rewards points after $6,000 in purchases within the first 4 months after approval for a new Blue Business Plus card.

Link to log in and see if you are targeted (must log in to Amex account to find out if you’re targeted)

You will need to log in, then click the “apply” button to see if you’re targeted. If you don’t see the bonus on the landing page and/or get a message that says something along the lines of “Sorry, this offer is no longer available”, that means you’re not targeted.

Quick Thoughts

This is one of the best offers that we’ve seen for this card. The Blue Business Plus often has no welcome bonus, and when it does, it’s typically only 10K-25K bonus points.

I’m a big fan of the Blue Business Plus. The card earns 2x on all spend (up to $50K in purchases per calendar year), making it a terrific “everywhere else” card for people who value Membership Rewards points. It’s also a sound backstop card since it has no annual fee but keeps Membership Rewards points alive and transferable to partners. Thus, there’s never any worry about cancelling an MR-earning card and losing points.

By meeting the terms of this bonus, you would end up with a total of 87K points in the first year, between the normal 2X on the first $6K in purchases and the 75K welcome bonus. That’s 14.5X MR on $6K spending, which is a pretty sweet deal.

billybob

Dang it! Working on a 25k sub now, and I’m targeted! But from what I’m reading below, I couldn’t open another for 90 days?

Anyone have any idea how long this offer will be around for those who are targeted? I just opened a different card a week ago

jody

wow everytime this comes around im never targeted but this time i was. but i just got a diff biz CC a week ago! ugh

Melissa

Can I ask how long some of you have been with Amex that are getting these multiple offers? I am trying to get into Amex and MR (mainly for access to Delta) and in early 2026 opened a Delta card with a high sub, an Amex cashback card and an Amex HYSA. I’ve been consistently spending on the two cards well after SUB was met, I intend to keep them both. I have been in PUJ the last two month for the Gold and I did eventually want the BBP for my small business but I feel like it might take a while. How often should I be applying? In your experience is it better with Amex to be consistent or to wait longer between applications? Thanks in advance!

Dan

For whatever reason I keep getting these offers for BBP for 75k. I have 2 of them already, but within my “recommended offers” on one of my BBP, it has an offer for another BBP at 75k. It is my understanding that Amex limits you to 5 credit cards (not charge) with them. So because I have a Amex personal Gold and 2 BBP, I could get 2 more BBP? Because they have no annual fee there wouldn’t usually be a reason to cancel, but what if I bump up against that limit of 5 and I can’t get offers for more BBP, or if I want to get an Amex personal platinum? Should I wait a year and then cancel a couple BBP or does it not matter to wait a year because there’s no AF?

I also have offers for the BBP on a couple of my Amex BP.

Andrew

AMEX Personal Gold and Platinum are charge cards, so those would count separately as you pointed out. That means you could get 3 more BBP cards and still get Personal Gold and Platinum as well (the limit on charge cards is said to be 10, though I have no personal experience with that).

DP: Not targeted. Though was just approved two days ago for the Amex BBP with a lower SUB offer.

SiPapi

Can I get this offer again even if I have a BBP already?

SiPapi

Disregard! I just read the above about “no lifetime language”.

Alyssa Whitesides

My husband has 3 and he got another offer today.

SiPapi

Lucky. I wasn’t targeted…

Nathan

We have 3 Platinum’s, 2 Business Platinum’s, and pretty much every other AMEX Business and cobranded card, but for whatever reason, this 50k or 75k BBP offer has always been elusive for us… P1, P2, P3, P4 all not targeted! For nearly 5 years in a row…

randy

I literally applied for and was approved for this card yesterday when the offer was for 25,000 points with $6000 spend. When I logged into my account today, I’m pre-approved for the 75,000 point offer. I called up assuming they would change me to the 75,000 points but supervisor said he can’t do this (chase has done this in the past after more time with no problem). They have to refer it to their back office which can take up to 2 wks. Anyone have this happen and were they successful in getting the extra 50,000 points?

Dan

Did you apply again today? It would be double the minimum spend but you could get the 75K possibly

randy

Amex app rules page – you can’t get 2 of the same card within 90 days.

Andrew

As a general rule AMEX won’t match offers, no matter how recent your application. Doesn’t hurt to try but that is one area Chase is generous in that AMEX is not (though Chase denied me on my last attempt, when the Ink bonuses went up to 90K they kept me at the original 75K).

randy

That’s really unfortunate, but maybe I’ll get lucky.

I just got targeted with this offer, I’ve never had a BBP before, does anyone know if it would still work if I go and sign up the regular way for it first via referral and then come back to this offer before it expires? As in get two BBP’s and SUBs. Since this offer is NLL, it should technically be ok but wondering if there are other reasons Amex won’t like it.

Take the 75k, do not pass go, do not collect $200 , do not get another one for 15k!

How did the targeted offer arrive- email, in account online?

I would REALLY want that offer- heck, I’d take the 50k if I could find it

pandalover

thanks just applied and approved! the only info I found that addressed this was from the Amex app rules page on here- you can’t get 2 of the same card within 90 days.

The offer arrived via email- I was really surprised I was targeted with such a good offer. Despite being a high spender I’ve haven’t gotten any good targeted offers before and never via email. At the same time NLL 125k biz gold offer popped up in my app.

Gina

How can I get this targeted offer if I don’t have an Amex account?

agentguy

If the link is not working for you, try another browser. It worked for me. 02/06/2025

Bulls_Fan

Still nada – different browsers and players

bulls_fan

no luck after 5 plus days of trying 4 players

Dawn

Are offers like this only for existing Amex customers? Looks like I need an Amex account to check if I qualify and the only option without signing in is the regular 15k bonus.
