  • Valid only when booking directly through Hyatt

Quick Thoughts

This Amex Offer only applies to the Destination properties in Hyatt’s portfolio. There’s quite a few interesting hotels wrapped up this somewhat oddball collection. My wife and I had a great stay at the Tempe Mission Palms (a Destination property) in 2022 and spent a magical couple of days at the Hana Maui Resort last year.

Since the credit is fixed at $75, the discount percentage is largest when the total is closest to $300. However, Amex allows that amount to be reached in more than one transaction, so it should be possible to hit it fairly close to $300 and then pay with a more lucrative Hyatt card.

Also note that the stay just has to be paid by 12/31. So, prepaying a stay which occurs after that date should trigger the offer without issue.

I a currently at an unbound hotel. Check in 10/31 checkout 11/2. Do you think this credit would apply?
