The Deal

  • Get a 30% transfer bonus when transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards to British Airways Avios, Iberia Avios, or Aer Lingus Avios through 11:59PM ET on December 9, 2020

Key Details

  • Valid through 11:59PM ET on December 9, 2020
  • Bonus is applied on the British Airways end after the transfer is complete (so you’ll initially see a transfer ratio of 1,000:1,000 on the Chase end, but you’ll end up with 1,300 Avios).

Quick Thoughts

British Airways offers competitive award pricing mostly for short distance economy flights. Iberia has great award prices for very short round-trip partner (OneWorld) economy flights. They also have great prices for flying Iberia between the US and Europe.

I do not recommend transferring points unless you have a near term plan for using those points.

As always, we have added this to our list of Current point transfer bonuses.

Got pretty excited at first when I read “Visa” as fee free at Staples. Can’t seem to use the trick at WM to get MCGC’s to drain or I’d be all over that. Any other suggestions?

I thought it was MC that were fee free this week. Are VGC fee free too this week?

Isn’t it MC GCs this week at Staples and not Visa?
