Update 11/29/19: Dosh is once again running this offer, but this time with $30 back for a hotel booking made by Monday, 12/2. I did this deal the last time they ran it in August and I received both the advertised cash back for the hotel and the $25 bonus (I used it on a cheap ~$100ish hotel in Tahiti for a night on the way to Bora Bora).
Expired 8/31/19: The Dosh app is offering an additional $25 cash back on a hotel booking made by 8/31/19. That is on top of the cash back you can already earn when booking through the app. You’ll of course want to compare prices, but if you’re already booking a hotel before the end of the month, this is worth a look. I’m actually planning to take advantage of this one myself.
The Deal
- The Dosh app is offering an additional $30 cash back on your next hotel booking when you book via the app by 12/2/19 at 11:59pm PDT
- If you’re new to Dosh, feel free to sign up using one of our referral links. It says that we’ll earn $10, but I’m not sure what incentive you get. In the past the person being referred also earned $5 after linking their first card, but I don’t know if that’s still the case.
- Stephen’s link (Code: STEPHEP41)
- Nick’s referral (Code: NICHOLR92)
Key Details
- Must book via the hotels section on the Dosh app
$25$30 bonus will apply to a maximum of 1 booking made betweenAugust 15th11/29/19 andAugust 31st12/2/19 11:59PM PDT per Dosh subscriber.- The bonus payout will be made 30 days after a hotel stay is completed.
Quick Thoughts
Stephen previously showed that while initial prices through Dosh are (as one would expect) higher than via other channels, there are certainly instances where the cash back more than makes up for the price difference. The opposite is of course also true: some places are just overpriced. It always pays to shop around, but I could see this deal being particularly good if you need a cheap one-night stay where the extra $25 makes up a sizable percentage of the rate.
That’s precisely the situation in which I find myself: I need to book a cheap (~$100) 1-night stay for a late airport arrival / early morning flight out. There are no chain properties available nearby, so getting better than 25% back on a non-chain property (when also including the ordinary cash back earnings through Dosh) is probably about as good as I’ll do.
Again, you’ll want to see what other options you have: for example, if you can get a Hotels.com gift card at a discount of 15% or better, stacking that with Welcome Rewards could be as good of a discount as this — it really depends on how much cash back Dosh is otherwise offering for your property of choice (and how expensive that stay is).
Keep in mind that this offer is valid for one booking per Dosh subscriber, so you can’t use it more than once.

I got that offer and had the same situation. I needed a cheap airport hotel for 1 night. Found one for ~$100 that was priced similarly on other sites. I booked it earlier today. I see the rebate for the booking but no mention of the offer being triggered.
Any current deals on a hotels.com GC?
might be targeted, i do not see this offer…
