There are a number of notable airfare deals today, both domestic and international between a number of city pairs. Check out some of the things that caught our eye:

Another solid domestic fare comes from Secret Flying — Atlanta to Las Vegas for $186 round trip, though I’m seeing as low as $179 on American (with Spirit coming in as low as $133 on some dates).

International Travel

As reported by Ric Garrido at Loyalty Traveler, Norwegian has nonstop flights from Los Angeles to Copenhagen, Denmark for $373 round trip this summer, though I actually found as low as $339 in May.  Ric includes some great tips for carry-on strategy in order to avoid checking a bag. The travel credit benefits of some credit cards could be used to cover fees such as checking a bag or selecting a seat. Again, availability can be searched via Google flights for your preferred dates. May 3-10 pictured:

Via Secret Flying, another great fare is from Fort Lauderdale to Paris from $337 round trip during the summer. This is a great price for summer travel to one of Europe’s most popular destinations on legacy carriers. Secret Flying reports availability on select dates from May to October. Sample dates via Momondo:

Secret Flying also brings us a 2-in-1 trip allowing a stopover in Morocco: New York to Casablanca, Morocco and Portugal, Spain, or Italy from $402. There is availability from May to October, though I believe July and August are blacked out.  See Secret Flying for sample dates. The best fares are available via Momondo:

In other stopovers deals, Secret Flying brings us Boston to Brussels, Belgium for $370 round trip — or you can add a stopover in Iceland for $26 more. These fares are available from May to June. Here it is from Momondo with the stopover in Iceland:

The Flight Deal brings us a JetBlue sale for Washington, DC to Quito, Ecuador for $328 round trip.  Sample dates here from Google Flights are April 22-26th:

Jetblue Quito

I spent about eight months living in Quito years ago and found Ecuador to be an amazing place to visit — you could visit the Amazon rainforest, the Andes mountains, the cloud forest, and the beach in one day. Getting around Ecuador via bus is cheap, the flora and fauna are fascinating, and the people were unforgettable.  Quito sits at an elevation of more than 9,000 fit. You can take a cable car from the city to a point near the top of Pinchincha Volcano and hike to about 15,500ft.

I'm no mountain climbing expert, but I suggest taking a couple of days to get used to the elevation before trying to climb even higher.

And finally, if you’re willing or able to position out of Cairo, there are some terrific business class fares originating there. Cairo is a known hub for cheap business class airfares, but there are two especially notable sales today: Qatar Airways business class from Cairo to the US for less than $1100 round trip from One Mile at a Time and Cairo to Bangkok in Kuwait Airways business class for $571 round trip from Secret Flying.  I’ve never flown Kuwait airways and don’t know them, but I’ve flown Qatar Airways business class and it is excellent.  The business class lounge in Doha is terrific.

Let us know if you take advantage of any of these deals!
