Kroger currently has a couple of digital coupons offering 4x fuel points on third party gift cards and fixed-value Visa and Mastercard gift cards.
Before you go running out to the grocery store though, these digital coupons are only valid from May 22-25.

Quick Thoughts
4x fuel points means you can save up to 14% on gas when buying third party gift cards. That can be an excellent deal if you can max out those fuel points, especially when paying with a card that earns more at grocery stores. That includes the Chase Freedom card which is earning 5% this quarter, as well as lots of Chase, Citi and Amex cards.
Note that although you can load the digital coupons to your account right now, they’re only valid for purchases made from May 22-25.
These digital coupons should be available at all of Kroger’s affiliate stores like Ralphs, King Soopers, Smith’s, Fry’s and more. Harris Teeter’s fuel points program runs separately to Kroger’s, so you’ll need to load their 4x digital coupons in your E-VIC account.

Maybe I’m missing the “fixed amlount” or does not apply to variable load in the T&C.
From Kroger website:

YMMV but I’m pretty sure variable load are included.
That’s a different digital coupon. The VGC/MGC digital coupon linked to above is to earn 4x fuel points on fixed-value VGCs & MGCs. Yes – that’s for third party gift cards which does include variable load gift cards. You don’t earn 4x fuel points for variable load Visa and Mastercard gift cards though.
Hmmmm I got lucky then, my store purchase last week netted me 800 Fuel points on variable.

Was that a variable load Visa or Mastercard gift card then? If so, it’d be worth making a note of which specific variety of card that was. I’ve heard of cases before where specific types of variable load VGC/MGCs have temporarily earned fuel points even though they shouldn’t earn any at all, so if you’re finding it earns fuel points then that’s a great opportunity.
Variable Visa/Metabank 50-500 USD I tried $200 just to play it safe and I ended up with 800 FP.
