Update 3/11/24: We’ve received several recemt DP’s of folks being able to successfully apply for this 200K offer that weren’t able to previously. It still does appear to be targeted, and you have to log-in order to apply, but it seems like it might be open to a new round of Amex customers. It still has no lifetime language (NLL), thus it’s fair game for those who currently have or have had a Business Platinum. Original post follows.

There’s a direct link to check if you’re targeted for this 200,000 Membership Rewards offer on the Amex Business Platinum card (see ‘The Deal’ section below). You’ll be prompted to log in after clicking ‘Apply Now’ and it’s after logging in that you’ll know if you’re eligible.
If you get a message stating ‘We are sorry. This offer is no longer available. If you’d still like to apply for a Business Card from American Express click here’, that means you’re not targeted.
The Deal
- Some Amex customers are seeing a targeted Business Platinum card offer for 200,000 points after $15,000 in purchases in the first 3 months in the “Offers” section of the Amex App. Those targeted are reportedly not seeing lifetime language in the offer terms.
- Direct link to check if you’re targeted.
Key Card Details
Note that if you click through the key card details, you’ll find more information about the current public offer for this card, which is different than the targeted offer we’re reporting here.

Quick Thoughts
This is an incredible offer. It does require a lot of spend in three months, so this won’t appeal to those with limited capacity to meet minimum spending requirements (you might be better offer opening two different cards for nearly the same return on spend with the right offers), but for those who have or have had most of the Amex Membership Rewards-earning cards before, this could be an awesome opportunity to get a nice influx of points.
This offer doesn’t require more spend than the public Business Platinum card offers, it just provides a larger welcome bonus. Scoring 200,000 points on top of the points earned from meeting the minimum spend with just one card bonus will certainly be appealing for some.
I’ve been in-flight for the past few hours, so I haven’t yet had a chance to check to see whether I’ve been targeted, but other members of the Frequent Miler team have not been so far. The report on reddit indicates that this was found in the “Offers” tab in their Amex app and it sounds like it was directly targeted. I imagine that not everyone will see this, and you should always check the offer terms for lifetime language and take screen shots. However, if you are targeted, it’s a pretty good opportunity.
If you’re wondering how best to use these points, you’ll want to see our Amex Membership Rewards sweet spots post. There are plenty of ways that you could get far outsized value with this bonus, though at a base level you could get over $3,000 in airfare with your chosen US-based airline assuming you’re able to use the card’s 35% pay-with-points rebate (up to 1 million points per year). You could potentially do far better with strategic redemptions and/or international premium cabins.
This link no longer works.

clicked the link and this is employee card application? is this directly linked to someone’s business card? clicked link then 200k came up…
At this point you are practically buying points unless albeit cheaply..
What do you think are the chances the 250K offer returns
Not high enough to wait for it
No dice on mine either though I just signed up for a Business Plat in January.
No go on either of our accounts
No-go on this new 200k offer for P1 and P2.
So, I have been trying to get a business platinum offer for about two years with NLL. I have had at least three cards in the past. I check links whenever they get published here or on doctor of credit or wherever else and always strike out. I figure when I see Amex give big offers on cards they may be trying to increase their portfolio and so I give it a try. In light of the recent 250k offer, I decided to try some NLL links to see if it had loosened up and indeed this 200k worked for me today.
I just checked and I am targeted but when I clicked through it said the offer was no longer available.
That means you are not targeted.
Dang. I really don’t want another $695 annual fee…I already have two flavors of personal Platinum. But 200K is pretty juicy
I followed the link and logged in and got this message: “This offer is no longer available. If you’d still like to apply for a Business Card from American Express click here.”
Same here
same here.
Hi, what is the policy/fee for employee cards?
And they have full Delta lounge access or…?
Thanks, couldn’t quite tell from reading it myself
Employee cards can be Platinum, Gold, or Green. Employee cards that are Platinum have the same lounge access as the primary cardholder (including Priority Pass, each must separately enroll). Guests in Centurion Lounges? Same as the primary cardholder. Number of Delta Sky club visits? Same as primary cardholder. Employee cards that are Gold or Green do not have lounge access.
P2 and I were both rejected…:(
P2 was approved for 200k offer using the link and logging into account.
This just takes me to my login page after I sign in
Edit: Nevermind I figured it out
Hi Alex, I got the same thing. What am I missing?
Edit: Hahahah…just figured it out.
Yup
Would you mind sharing how you figured it out?
You need to hit apply now and then there will be a link to sign in towards the center of the page
