We love Chase Ultimate Rewards primarily because of the ability to transfer to partners (and we specifically love the ability to transfer to Hyatt.) Chase Ultimate Rewards is actually one of the best ways to get Hyatt points, in fact. We’ll talk more about amassing Chase Ultimate Rewards (and why you would want to) in this episode of Frequent Miler on the Air.

I noticed Greg and Nick seem to carefully avoid the words “gift cards.” Is this a new rule?
Agree…all of a sudden very cryptic when discussing Drug Stores (“things they have in the rack at the counter”), and completely bypassing it when discussing 5x (“whatever you bring to the checkout counter:)…what is the source of this newfound lack of transparency? How can you get through an episode with that title, without mentioning 5x gift card options at office supply stores?
You mentioned paying utilities with a 5X card. In Minneapolis, I’m able to overpay my utilities. I’ve overpaid by $500 a lot of times. If you are cutting it close on a minimum spend, that can bail you out.
There is a minor mistake /erroneous information given at approximately 9:04 into the podcast- The Chase business unlimited card DOES have a foreign exchange fee. Great episode other than that! Thanks.
I’ve heard Nico pays for a lot his bathhouse time with his card he gets a load of points while taking a load
