Quick Thoughts

On the one hand, the caps here don’t make this offer very exciting. On the other hand, if you value Radisson points at even 0.3c per point, your total return in cash back and points is about 3.5%. That might not be bad at movie theaters and this offer may come in particularly handy for anyone finishing up $10K spend on a Radisson Visa card for a free night certificate (keep in mind that you can spend for up to 3 free night certificates at $30K spend, but those certificates are only valid in the US).

Yeah, I got this and it’s not exciting. The biggest problem I have with Radisson is the benefits being limited to North America or the US only. This was true even before the weird split that no one understands. I put it on par with airline cards that give you free checked bags but only on domestic flights, which is also weird.

I received this promo on my Radisson card, in addition to a separate mailer with another promo for an extra 20% earnings on the card (so 6 points per $). Given how many great promos are out there right now, I did not even bother registering for these.

I received a similar offer on my Altitude Reserve.
