Key Terms

Browser Button Promotions

  • Members will earn a one-time bonus of 1000 miles when they successfully install the button (browser requirements detailed on button page) and use the button to spend $25 or more in qualifying purchases during the Bonus Period.
  • To qualify, members must also keep the button installed for a minimum of 30 days after the end of the Bonus Period and must not have installed the button previously before the Bonus Period.
  • The Bonus Miles are in addition to the standard miles earned from shopping online through the shopping portal.
  • “Qualifying purchases” do not include returns, cancellations, shipping and handling, taxes, gift card or other cash equivalent purchases, and certain products that are not eligible for bonus miles.
  • Please allow up to 10 weeks after the Bonus Period for bonus miles to post to your account.
  • Limit one bonus redemption per member.

Quick Thoughts

The airline shopping portals run browser button promotions a few times per year, so if you’ve done any of those in the past, you can’t earn bonus miles/points for the same airline(s) again. The Delta deal on the other hand is like a normal shopping portal promo, so you can do that one regardless of how frequently you’ve done Delta portal promos in the past.

One of the great things about these offers are the low spending requirements. If you haven’t done any browser button promos in the past you could, in theory, complete all five of these airline shopping portal promotions by spending a total of $200 – $25 for each of the browser button deals and $100 for the Delta offer. In return you’d earn a total of 4,500 bonus miles/points on top of the base earnings – not too shabby for $200 of spend.

I’m not sure if you can have more than one button installed on the same browser at the same time, but there’s an easy workaround if you’d like to take advantage of two or more of these airline shopping portal offers. When there was a similar offer last year, Gena commented with the following helpful information:

Google Chrome has profiles — make yourself as many as you want so you can have 1/each extension, so you can have them all still installed for 30 days, but not in use in your standard/normal profile: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2364824

Technologically ignorant here. I am assuming you cannot install a button on a browser on your phone can you? Or an ipad?

Can you do these all with the same browser – or will that totally kill any tracking?
