Doctor of Credit reports that Dollar General is currently offering 20% off on Uber Gift Cards (note that Uber gift cards can be used for Uber or Uber Eats). Note that I don’t see this in the weekly ad, but according to several commenters on the Doctor of Credit post, the Uber gift cards are ringing up with the 20% off discount despite not showing up in the ad and not having any signage in-store. YMMV of course, but if you’re passing a Dollar General, it might be worth dipping in for this deal.

Quick Thoughts
Again, I don’t see this advertised in the current weekly ad for the stores near me, but it sounds like Uber gift cards are ringing up with the discount as an unadvertised special (including with no signage in-store). Your mileage may vary here — I have no idea whether this is available nationwide. However, I’m going to pass a Dollar General today and I’ll probably give this a shot.
Note that I’ve seen reports from many people who say that Dollar General only accepts cash for gift cards in their areas. YMMV on that as well — all of the Dollar General stores in my area accept credit cards for gift cards (and we have quite a few stores within a 30 miles radius). I’m sure this varies considerably with location.
