Quick Thoughts

This one caught my eye because I don’t think there are many ways to save on Seabourn cruises. This is a luxury line with smaller ships. I don’t believe they have casinos onboard, so this is not a line where there is any sort of matching / free cruise opportunity. On the contrary, I don’t think it would be terribly difficult to max this offer out if you’re booking with Seabourn.

Seabourn cruises are usually AT least $3k per person so figure $6k per couple so it certainly wouldn’t be hard to max this out if you are booking Seabourn anyway. $3k is about the lowest price for this cruise line but keep in mind that Seabourn doesn’t nickel and dime. The rate includes gratuities, shore excursions, many drinks, and wine. So figure 50,000 points is worth something as well.

Yes, I can see how you could easily spend $10K on a cruise with Seabourn. The 50K MR points would pull the cost down to only $8K in my book. Still, I’m way to thrifty for that sort of cash outlay. No free cruise with Seabourn!
