There’s a new widely targeted Amex Offer out today that’s good for 1,200 American Express Membership Rewards points after spending $150 or more at Amazon.com (enrollment required). Even better, the deal can be repeated for up to 3,600 total bonus points. That works out to 8 points per dollar on top of the rewards ordinarily earned on the card to which you sync it, which is a nice deal if you’re shopping at Amazon before the end of the year.

- A new targeted Amex Offer is out that’s good for bonus Membership Rewards points when you spend at Amazon.com. The spending and bonus point thresholds vary, so you’ll have to see your targeted offer to see what you have (if anything). You can earn this bonus three times with one or more purchases. Quick Thoughts
This is a nice offer for additional bonus points that stack on top of what you’ll already earn with your given card. I see that a couple of shopping portals still list cash back on specific categories (mostly Amazon devices) and that should stack on top of this card-linked offer.
Given that I’m sure we’ll see some great deals from Amazon in the coming weeks and that I’m sure this offer will be popular, I’d recommend syncing it up sooner rather than later so you’re ready when you see the deal you want.

Yes I got this offer and reloaded my balance at the maximum amount ($150) and received all 1,500 points the next day.
It looks like gift cards aside from corporate or custom are covered as well? If that’s the case I’m just going to buy the maximum now in GC so my P2 doesn’t accidentally spend on the wrong card…

Got the same. I’d prefer more MR, but in terms of % return on spend, this is technically the “best” one.

I got the offer to spend $4000 for 2000MR, so that’s 5x earnings. But I don’t know if I need to spend the $400 in one purchase or if I can do multiple purchases over time.

Can I just reload my gift card balance with $450?
I don’t see anything int he terms to indicate that you can’t. That would be pretty easy to test with a $150 load.
