This referral offer is targeted in that only some Business Platinum cardholders have the ability to generate a link good for it — but the offer itself is publicly available to anyone applying through a qualifying referral link (like the one on our Business Platinum card page). Those Business Platinum cardholders who have the ability to generate a 150K link should see it advertised in the “refer a friend” section of their login – it shows the bonus that you’ll get as a Business Platinum cardholder and that your friend will get 150,000 bonus Membership Rewards points.
We want your 150K offer referral links
Here on Frequent Miler, our Best Credit Card Offers page always links to the best available welcome bonus, even if that’s not an affiliate link. The Best Offer for the Amex Business Platinum card through affiliate channels is for only 120,000 Membership Rewards points. That’s why you’ll see many other points and miles sites hawking that inferior version.
However, we always present the offer that allows new applicants to earn the best available bonus, even when it doesn’t benefit our site through affiliate commissions. Seeing as referral earnings are limited to 100,000 points per person and that’s maxed out after just a few referrals, we want to share the wealth by using readers’ referral links on the site. We need reader links for the 150K offer.
If you’d like to have your referral link shared on the Best Offers page, here’s what you need to do:
Step 1: Check your referral link
You can find your referral link here, or by logging in to your American Express account and scrolling down to the ‘Refer A Friend’ link at the bottom of the page and clicking on that. Note that you might need to change your card at the top of the referral page so that your Amex Business Platinum card is selected.
Before sharing your referral link, please ensure that it generates a link to the offer giving new applicants 150,000 Membership Rewards points after $15,000 in purchases. Not all Amex Business Platinum cardholders can generate that superior offer, so it’s worth checking first. If your referral link only shows the 150k offer when opening the referral link in certain ways or in certain browsers, your link won’t be eligible.
Step 2: Join the Frequent Miler Insiders Facebook group
If you’re already part of our Facebook group, you can skip this step. If you’re not a member though, you’ll need to join this group. Note that you’ll be asked a question or two (depending on if you try joining on mobile or desktop) to ensure you’re not a bot. Please answer that question(s), otherwise you won’t get admitted to the group in order to do step 3.
Step 3: Share your link on the dedicated thread
We have a dedicated thread set up to share your 150K link, so please leave your link as a reply to our first comment on this referral thread. We’ll then work our way through the them for as long as this increased offer is only available via referrals. We will rotate through links there regularly to try to give as many readers as possible a chance at picking up a referral bonus.
Comments on the blog with links automatically get caught in our spam filter and won’t post, so please don’t share your links in the comments here. It’ll just get deleted. Instead, that Facebook thread is the only place we’ll be accepting referral links (sorry if you’re not on Facebook).
Also, please don’t share a non-150K referral link as that’ll get deleted too. If you leave your link on the referral thread and it subsequently gets deleted by us, it’s because it either doesn’t always display the 150k offer or your link was left in the wrong place.

There’s a targeted version for that which has been around for the last few months; whereabouts are you seeing the 190k offer?
Googled “american express business platinum” and clicked on sponsored amex offer … works in private mode on pc and phone.

Unfortunately we’re not able to use that 190k as the Best Offer as we need to use links where the user is guaranteed to get the offer no matter how they open the link.

Technical question, I don’t have this card myself, but I have other Amex cards and can see this referral offer when expanding to “other cards with referral”, can I still share my link somehow? The referral link points to my other card though.
If you don’t have an Amex Platinum card, the referral links generated from your other cards won’t always show the 150k offer unfortunately.
I received the 150,000 points referral offer on my Amex Business Platinum card. How do I share the link with you? I never used Facebook but just created an account.
If you read through the post you’ll see detailed instructions. You’ll have to join the Frequent Miler Insiders Group (link in the post) and then leave your link in the dedicated thread (also linked in the post). Be sure to follow the instructions on the where to leave the link in the thread.
I requested to join the group but I have not received a confirmation yet. My referral link works in safari, Firefox and google chrome browser. I checked. 🙂

The 190k offer is targeted – we need the highest guaranteed offer for our Best Offers page which is the 150k offer.
Actually, not. By using different browsers, you can search “amex business platinum” in Google (do it several times until you find it). Then, 190k offer is easily found. If you find it, you can find 150k gold business offer in the same page.

For our Best Offers page though, we link to the best publicly available offer for each card. There’s no direct links available to the 150k Business Gold or 190k Business Platinum as you have to go through various steps in order to view those; for the Best Offers page, the link we provide has to go directly to the offer we list, so the 150k and 190k offers unfortunately don’t meet those requirements.
I won’t post on the facebook thread because my link only shows the 150K offer in an incognito chrome browser. The weird thing is that, in an incognito browser, it reliably generates a 150K offer within only $8K in spend.
$15k is a bit steep for me but $8K is doable for me. Next step ?
