Dosh is sending out what seems to be targeted offers to app users, offering 10% cashback at Kroger.
The Deal
- Earn 10% cashback at Kroger when paying with a card linked in the Dosh app.
- If you’re new to Dosh, feel free to sign up using one of our referral links. It says that we’ll earn $5, but I’m not sure what incentive you get. In the past the person being referred also earned $5 after linking their first card, but I don’t know if that’s still the case.

Quick Thoughts
The last I saw, Dosh was offering 3% cashback at Kroger, so it looks like that was increased to 5% at some point since April seeing as this double cashback offer means you’ll earn 10%.
I’m in the mountains of Vermont right now, so I can’t check the Dosh app to see further details of the terms as there are no Kroger stores anywhere nearby. I’m therefore not sure if there’s still a limit of $10 per day and, if there is, whether that’s also been doubled to $20 for this offer or if you just don’t have to spend as much to max out the daily limit.
Gift card purchases are presumably excluded, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that’s how it’s enforced. For example, they exclude gift card purchases from earning 3% at Staples but that still works. Even if they are excluded, it shouldn’t be too hard maxing out the limit if you actually buy your groceries there.
I’m also not certain this is a targeted offer. The text of the email says
Take advantage of our Kroger offer with 2X cash back on your first purchase – that’s 10%!
The thing is, I earned cashback at Kroger through Dosh a few months ago, so it wouldn’t be my first purchase there. It might therefore mean your first purchase within the promotion period; if so, hopefully that means everyone will earn double cashback there so long as you make a purchase by August 8.
Update: Not all Kroger stores participate in this, so you’ll need to check the app to see if the store(s) nearest you are listed. The Kroger stores where I used to live in Hampton Roads VA didn’t participate in this, but I did find some in Kentucky when we visited there.

I got that email from Dish, but Kroger offer is nowhere to be found in the app itself
