Three of the Hilton Honors credit cards have limited-time welcome offers that include both statement credits and a decent tranche of Hilton points. These offers are all valid through July 6, 2022 and represent some of the best we’ve seen when you combine the bonus points and the statement credits.

Quick Thoughts
Each of these offers includes $400-520 of Hilton points (see Hilton RRV’s) combined with another $100+ of statement credit…and for very reasonable minimum spend. Keep in mind that each Hilton card is considered a separate product, so it’s possible to get a welcome offer on all four cards. Especially tempting are the Business and Surpass cards, which include a free weekend night certificate with $15K in calendar-year spend (though note that the Surpass is the card with the more compelling bonus category for many people…including me). The Business card has the added sweetener of not counting towards your 5/24 count.
For some reason, the Aspire card continues to operate on a separate track from the other three, so there’s no statement credits for new enrollments. That said, the current offer does include a free weekend certificate, so that may be the best of all depending on if you can use the certificate for good value.
You can often buy Hilton points for half a cent each, so you could look at a $100 statement credit as being worth an additional 20K Hilton points or a $130 statement credit being worth 26K Hilton points — but this offer lets you choose whether to go ahead and buy those points with your statement credits or spend it directly with Hilton, which I’m sure is what 98% of fus will do.
Note that these offers are available via referral, so if you’re in 2-player mode you can add even more points to the total haul. You don’t even need a Hilton card to refer someone, as referrals are possible from Membership Rewards-earning cards as well (ie, Amex Platinum, Gold, etc). Some folks are finding referral offers as high as 30K MR for referring a new cardholder, which is a significant addition to the Hilton offers.
If I signed up for one of these cards today, would get a card number today? If like to be able to take advantage of the 2x or 3x bonus, that I believe expires a day after this, on top of the card benefits, if possible.
Why would you spend the credit at Hilton? Isn’t the credit simply a give-back posted to the credit card? I don’t follow.
No, this one is for purchases at Hilton Family Hotels only. I’m sure some folks will see if they can’ stretch the rules, of course.
Yes. But the post seems to reference spending the credit at Hilton. You mean that, if you first spend at Hilton, you then get a credit (which will reduce your credit-card bill).
Yes
Tried sending a referral link from my wife’s Amex (Gold Delta). The link does not include the Hilton card options (only the four Delta cards).
Unfortunately, the only cards with universal referral capacity are membership rewards earning cards (platinum, gold etc). Co-branded cards are only able to refer within the brand family.
