15% cashback on Hotels.com gift cards is a pretty good deal, so this one will likely sell out sooner rather than later. MyGiftCardsPlus is also offering 20% cashback on gift cards for Jiffy Lube, Build-A-Bear Workshop and Fanatics; those brands often go on sale for 20% off, so they’re not quite as interesting as this Hotels.com deal.
In case you’re not familiar with MyGiftCardsPlus, the site is owned by Swagbucks and the cashback comes in the form of Swagbucks. While that might initially sound off-putting, Swagbucks can be redeemed via PayPal on a 1 point to 1c basis, so the cashback you earn from this deal is basically as good as cash. If you bought $500 of gift cards from this deal, you’d therefore earn 7,500 Swagbucks which is worth $75.
You can also redeem Swagbucks for other third party gift cards. They sometimes offer discounts on certain brands when doing that, plus you can save 12% on the first $25 gift card you redeem Swagbucks for each month which can be good value, especially for brands like Amazon which normally aren’t available at large discounts.
