Quick Thoughts
I’ve found items at Office Depot and OfficeMax to often be overpriced, so I don’t value $25 in rewards at face value. Despite that, getting back $25 in rewards when buying $100 in gift cards for the brands listed above can still be a good deal. For example, even if you only value the rewards at 50% of face value, that’s still a 12.5% discount.
You can also pay with a Chase Ink Cash or Ink Plus card to earn 5x on the purchase, making the deal even sweeter.
