American Express is offering a limited-time 20% bonus when transferring Membership Rewards to Aeromexico. With the bonus, the transfer rate is 1 MR – 1.92 CP, which looks good on paper, but isn’t terribly inspiring unless you have a specific redemption in mind.

- Transfer American Express Membership Rewards to Aeromexico Club Premier and get a 20% bonus (1 MR – 1.92 CP).

Quick Thoughts
The normal transfer rate from Membership Rewards to Aeromexico is 1 MR:1.6 CP, so this transfer bonus increases that to 1 MR:1.92 CP. Aeromexico’s SkyTeam award chart (roundtrip) is below:
Even at almost 1-2, these aren’t world-beating options, especially when considering Delta’s current award sale. That said, the bonus means you might get some decent fares, even more so given that some folks are swimming in Membership Rewards right now. 114,000 MR points for roundtrip business class travel to Europe and Southern South America is fairly good, as is 133,000 MR points roundtrip business anywhere in North and Southeast Asia. Those are low season prices, though, so be sure to compare the award fares to cash prices as well as to other transfer partners. Above all, don’t transfer speculatively.
