Welcome to our weekly list of what’s ending this week as well as a collection of some other deals that are due to end soon.
While there are only a handful of deals scheduled to expire this week, keep in mind that this weekly post covers deals expiring from Sunday through Saturday. As next Sunday is the end of the month (8/31), there are a host of deals scheduled to expire next Sunday. You’ll therefore want to check not only the “Last Chance Deals” section, but the travel and shopping deals further down the page under “other limited-time offers” to make sure that you don’t miss those, either.
Out of the deals expiring this week, the one that really catches my eye is the deal to buy Choice Privileges points on sale. With Stephen on vacation, I (Nick) am typiung this week’s update from a Choice Privileges property where the cash rate last night was $332 plus tax. However, with the current sale (due to expire this week), you could have bought the points to book the room for just over $100 — and I should mention that I’m typing this from a suite since, in many cases, Choice allows you to redeem the same number of points for a suite as you would for a standard room. It is possible to do really well by purchasing Choice points on sale. I’m less enthused about the IHG points sale expiring later this week; in some cases, you can leverage it to score a bit of a deal, but there is less opportunity to huge upside than with Choice (though this is really going to depend on where you’re traveling).
Below you’ll find this week’s Last Chance Deals. Those are followed by deals that Won’t Last Long and Other Limited-time Offers. Deals in bold were posted this week.

I’ve booked a couple of Excursionist Perk itineraries in the last few days, somewhat speculatively. I know I can’t change them after Aug. 21 and still keep the “Perk”, but am thinking that after flying the “Perk” leg, I’ll still be able to make time and connection changes on a space available basis (possibly repricing) for remaining flights on the itinerary. I do that sometimes, and have liked United’s award ticket flexibility. Will miss the Perk, as I often book flights around Africa, where paid tickets can get really expensive.
My CapOne 15x offer at CVS says it’s valid until Aug. 17.
Excellent quad-stack day to use Saks AMEX Platinum $50 credit towards any Beauty Product: 1. 15% off Saks Beauty promo ends today 2. 20% off Saks, including Beauty, promo ends Thursday, 8.7.25 3. Alaska Air Shopping portal promo 4. $50 AMEX Saks credit. An $80 regular priced item essentially free!
For future reference how did you combine 1 and 2? Were they multiple coupons?
Hi Nun – I had never seen before, but Saks sent 2 different emails that both encompassed Beauty products. Usually Beauty is excluded in Saks general discount emails. I didn’t have to apply any codes, both discounts stacked automatically at check out. Had never seen before why I posted. FYI – La Mer Lip Balm best in the universe for men or women & extra special at only $4 this go round. A huge Hollywood swag item that actually works.
Last day to be able to pay rent on Bilt using a credit card other than Amex and earn 3X Bilt points, tomorrow all cards go to 1.5X
You fixed it to say Citi but under the “Saturday” heading, it still has 9/15/25
Ugh, thank you! Third time lucky.
I think you have the date wrong on the AMEX to Emirates change. I believe the date for the devaluation is September 16, 2025.
Thanks for pointing that out – I’ve gotten that fixed now.
I think you mean Citi is reducing transfer ratio this week. Not Amex – that’s later.
You’re right, thank you – I’ve just fixed that.
Advice please! I’ve got 2.2M Amex points and want to transfer some to Hawaiian/Alaska, but no idea how much to send. I live in the Pacific NW but haven’t used Alaska at all in five years due to prioritizing domestic travel via SW using companion passes. So I don’t have a good sense of Alaska fares or partners. But it seems like I should send some points while I can. Might want to use them for Asia or other international flights, for a family of four. If you HAD to suggest a figure to transfer just based on that, what would you say?
Transfer 250k to Hawaiian and then to Alaska – goes through instantly – that’ll be a good start with Alaska.
Thanks for the reply, Will! I actually went bigger (before getting your reply), and ended up transferring about 650K, to try and enable at least two round trip Asia flights for four. Hopefully, I don’t regret it!
I appreciate your effort
Thank you for the information!
April 14th BonVoy/BetMGM promotion not viable. Going to Link only takes you to BetMGM general sign-up site. Called BonVoy. They knew nothing of ‘promotion but sufficiently interested to then call BetMGM while I was on the line They also knew nothing of promotion. (BetMGM website has a Promotions page which shows no BonVoy promotion).
You should complain to your BetMGM PR people!
I saw the promotion on the Betmgm app. I signed up and made the required first bet, but have not received the 5000 bonus points! What up Pepper?
It seems like that promo caused issues for a lot of people. You’d need to follow up with BetMGM if you saw that promo in the app and they didn’t award the bonus points you expected.
If you book an award stay before the hyatt category changes, but want to apply a suite upgrade award later when you earn it, are you able to do as long as the suite is available (and keep the same amt of points from the original booking)?
I think that should work in theory provided the agent doesn’t decide to cancel your existing stay and rebook it using the Suite Upgrade Award.
lol. The IHG buy points was 20% bonus for me. What a joke
any vgc deals this week???
Don’t transfer into to Avianca!! Massive Avianca devaluation just occurred. Up to 100% in cases. Loyalty Lobby posted on it, lots of comments confirming widespread and massive devaluations. Sad.
