Update 10/12/20: Keep in mind that we will be constantly adding deals to this post in the coming days. We have added category headings under the Amazon Prime Day Deals section below and we’ll try to keep newly-added deals at the top of each section as we add more. I have also added a “competitor deals” section at the bottom for deals worth checking out at other stores.

Amazon postponed Prime Day 2020 back in July due to COVID, but it is on today and tomorrow, October 13-14 this year.

A list of existing deals can be found below and we’ll keep this post updated with the best new deals through the end of Prime Day on October 14. Note that all links to Amazon in this post will be our affiliate links.

Amazon Prime Day 2020

How To Get Amazon Prime

You can get a free trial of Amazon Prime for 30 days by clicking here. You don’t have to have a paid Prime membership to take advantage of Prime Day, so you can get this free trial, get all the deals you want, then cancel before the 30 days is up. If you don’t cancel, you’ll be charged $12.99 per month.

If you’re planning on purchasing an annual Amazon Prime subscription, you’ll be better off clicking through from TopCashback as you’ll receive a $15 Amazon gift card.

TopCashback Amazon Prime

Note that this appears in your TopCashback earnings as $15 cashback, but you’ll only be able to redeem that $15 for an Amazon gift card once it becomes payable. I had an issue with my transaction not tracking earlier this year, so I raised a claim with TopCashback and got the gift card soon after, so it’s worth keeping track of that just in case the same thing happens to you.

If you have an Alexa device, another option is to say “Alexa, sign me up for Prime.” This will earn you a $5 Amazon credit.

What Benefits Does Amazon Prime Offer

You can find a complete list of Amazon Prime benefits by clicking here. Some of the key benefits are:

  • Free 2 day delivery
  • Free 1 day delivery on 10+ million items
  • Prime Video
  • Prime Music
  • Prime Reading
  • Prime Photos

Prime Photos is actually the main reason we took out Prime membership this past year. My wife is a photographer on the side, so the fact that Amazon Photos offers unlimited, full-resolution photo storage was worth the investment as a way to back up her photos without losing any of the image quality. Getting Prime Video, free 1 or 2 day shipping, etc. was a bonus.

How To Save On Amazon Purchases

A tool for finding deals fast

Internet sales move fast and with millions of people shopping online at the same time, the best deals go quickly.

One tool that can be especially useful for staying on top of the fast-moving nature of shopping holidays like Prime Day, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday is the Slickdeals Live View. It is a way of looking at popular deal site Slickdeals in almost real-time to see the deals people are posting, what people are saying about various deals, and which deals are getting voted up at a quick glance.

heya Nick, is the nordstrom 20 off 150 first app purchase still available?

I can’t find any mention of it anywhere.

Disregard – I was able to find it after logging in

[…] Don’t miss this deal as it is a very easy win. You need to use the promotional credit by November 29th, but it should be pretty easy to use a $10 promo credit by then if you’re an Amazon shopper (though keep in mind that the promo credit can only be applied toward items shipped and sold by Amazon, not third party sellers even if their items are fulfilled by Amazon). As a reminder, you’ll find a running list of Prime Day deals (as well as those from competitors) that is constantly updated throughout the day today and tomorrow here: Amazon Prime Day 2020 deals, stacking opportunities, and competitor sales. […] Keep in mind that you definitely do not want to use more than 1 ThankYou point to pay as the value you receive per point is abysmal. I just signed up for a year (12 books) of Audible at $50 off for PrimeDays – and stacked it with 10% off from Chase.

very nice list of offers for prime….I am on month 2 and doubt i will keep it, since they have a few series on prime video that they they took the last season off of prime without warning…so we had 3 more shows in season 3 to watch and suddenly they are not available anymore. There are plenty of complaints of others shows getting the same treatment. Depending on your interests/needs it may be worth the AF, but you should try the service first to see it’s pros and cons as they relate to you.

FrequentMilerUser

is sneaky Pete one of them?

wise2u

Don’t know about “sneaky Pete”, my wife got hooked on “the muskateers” and “the man in the high tower” …Muskateers season 3 was temporarily yanked…. now my wife is hooked and wants me to get a year. I still don’t value it much, but it is a small price to pay to make her happy.

wise2u

they must have listened to the complaints, as the last season was added back to “free with prime” a couple of weeks later and we were able to finish the last episodes.

Janet Weiden

Excellent help for using Prime.
