Just in time to go with the recent theme of Las Vegas deals (but a smidge too late for me), there are a couple of nice new Amex Offers out for Las Vegas hotels, in this case for both Caesars resorts and Wynn. The Caesars one looks particularly good since it is valid at all of the various Caesars resorts in Las Vegas. These offers could certainly make for a nice little win to stack with yesterday’s Las Vegas easy wins or the Caesars Diamond Celebration Dinner (just charge the balance to your room for it to count towards this promo).

The Offers

Caesars: Spend $200 or more, get $40 / 4K points back

Expires: 9/3/19

Quick Thoughts: As you can see in the terms above, the Caesars offer is good at any of the many Caesars Las Vegas properties. That’s nice as it gives you some inexpensive options. Furthermore, it could make for a good stack with the Caesars Diamond Celebration dinner we wrote about yesterday if you have some overage (just charge the overage to your room folio in order to help trigger this offer).

Wynn: Spend $300+, get $60 / 6K points back

Expires: 9/3/19

Quick Thoughts: While this is similar to the Caesars offer, Wynn only has 2 Las Vegas properties (Wynn and Encore). That said, this offer lists eligible food & beverage establishments, so I take that to mean that even dining at those eligible restaurants at Wynn /  Encore, without even staying there, may trigger this offer. That’s nice if you hoped to dine at Wynn or Encore but didn’t intend to stay. Also keep in mind that Wynn can be booked via Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts. In my experience, the charges for Amex FHR bookings come directly from the hotel and often help to trigger offers.

Bottom line

If you intend to visit Las Vegas, you may as well sync these offers up. The Membership Rewards versions are more highly desirable, though either versions could certainly come in handy and help you save money on your next trip to the tables.
