You have no idea the crazy, dream-like adventure Stephen sent me on with his slideshow of bizarre US attractions from the 5 year, 50 state road-trip he and his wife are currently undergoing!
Heck, even I have almost no idea of what I saw as I yarned my way through a story for it all. But luckily Stephen provided a handy list of all the bizarre and wonderful sites featured in my Improv Travel Challenge video.
The funny thing is, some of these sites I swore I’d seen myself personally. Despite describing the dinosaurs as wedding guests for my imaginary wedding at the tiny Traveler’s Chapel in SC, in actuality, I could have sworn these dinosaurs were the same ones I’d seen somewhere in Northern Ohio in 2010.
Nope! Not the same dinosaurs, as Stephen’s were spotted in Alabama. Maybe Stephen will have to hunt down all the roadside dinosaur exhibits, like he did all the wooden troll sculptures.
Secondly, I was thrown off when I saw the World’s Largest Amish Chair from Blairsville, GA as well. You see…not only do I have a distinct feeling that i’ve seen a similar chair like this of bizarrely large proportions, I remember it being in Amish Country Ohio, (where I’m from), and I remember it claiming to be the largest chair in the world. But this time my memory is likely to blame, as I can’t find any evidence of such a chair online. Only this giant chair in the background of a different Amish Country Chair photo…
My guesses throughout the video were even more off base than the guesses I’ve outlined here. Somehow I ended up getting married in Amish Country United Kingdom in this bizarre Improv Travel Challenge…

Good job Carrie!
Sad this challenge is over. It has been a fun few weeks.
The struggle is real. ^_^ Did you go with a background story beforehand? I think Steven is pretty generous with the materials and Nick probably would like to have Steven’s video.
