Upgraded Points has discovered a ton of standard award availability at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui during the Summer/early-Fall of 2024. Rooms are available between June and October, including multiple 5-night blocks(meaning it will work for 5th-night free stays).
When there was wide open standard award availability a few months ago, that dried up within a couple of days, so you may need to book ASAP in order to lock in dates.
You can view award availability here, with that search being set for one night using flexible dates. At the time of writing this, effectively the entire months of July, August and September are available for 120,000 points per night, while October has 9 days.
This can be a great use of Hilton free night certificates earned from the Hilton Aspire or Surpass credit cards. If you don’t have many free night certificates and/or want to stay a little longer, Hilton offers the 5th night free on award stays for anyone with Silver status or higher. When booking in five night increments, that reduces the 120,000 points per night cost to an average of 96,000 points per night.
Note that some of July and August is unavailable for 5 night stays, even though the calendar shows it being wide-open for 1-night stays. That’s most likely because there are different standard rooms types available each night, as opposed to one specific room type being available for 5 nights in a row. I’ve heard of some folks being able to combine a couple different room types for a five night stay via a phone agent, but it’s extremely YMMV and could end in frustration.
Nick stayed at both the Conrad Bora Bora and St Regis Bora Bora a couple of years ago and wrote several comprehensive posts about his experiences and provided a lot of tips, so I’d highly recommend checking these out if you decide to jump on this award availability at the Conrad Bora Bora.

Looks like the St. Regis Bora Bora has some points availability mixed in these times as well if you want to split stays between the two (more in July less in August). Unfortunately all priced well out of range of being able to top off an 85K FNC – 116K+.
There are also some direct flights on Air France and Air Tahiti Nui with business class availability in July and August, out of LAX and SEA. 92.5K AF, 80K AA, 60K AS one way. United has SFO flights with much less availability but scorching good deals in July when they happen, 55K AC miles which drops to 46K (or less with the Air Canada Chase card) with the Chase transfer bonus.
