Below you will find airline credit card offers sorted from best to worst based on an estimate of first year value.
Calculations
First year values are calculated as: estimated first year value minus estimated first year costs. First year value includes signup bonus points and statement credits. First year costs include the first year annual fee and the opportunity cost of meeting minimum spend requirements.
Please note that valuable perks such as free checked bags, companion passes, airport lounge access, etc. are not included in these calculations.
Full details of how first year value is calculated can be found here: Credit card signup bonus estimation details.

Most cards nowadays offer points instead of miles not the same at all?
This page lists the best airline card offers, so these cards offer airline miles.
Many other cards offer points. As to whether or not that’s the same, it totally depends on the points. Chase Ultimate Rewards points or Amex Membership Rewards points, which can be earned on many Chase and Amex cards, can be transferred 1:1 to many different airline programs (or alternatively transferred to hotel points or alternatively used to book travel at more than 1 cent per point in some cases). The Discover IT Miles card awards what it calls “miles”, but are really just points worth $0.01 each.
So it varies quite a bit depending on what you’re looking for.

I have a BA Executive Club “Household Account” with my spouse. If she gets the Chase BA card,
will her bonus miles go into the Household account? I don’t see what else they could do.
I believe so
The link for the Chase United MileagePlus® Explorer Business card lands on a Chase page that only offers 30,000 miles.
The link for the CitiBusiness AAdvantage card is showing a bonus of only 30,000 miles.
Thank you! Fixed.
[…] Opening a British Airways credit card and getting bonus points after meeting a minimum spend threshold. (Right now, I think the bonus offer is 50,000 points after spending $2,000 in the first three months). Note: This is probably the quickest way to earn points, er, Avios (other than, say, a few round-the-world flights, and if you’re racking up miles that way, I don’t know what you’re doing reading this site.) But – and this is a big but (no, not that kind of big butt) – do not apply for additional credit cards unless you are know you can handle it responsibly, pay it off promptly, etc. – all that crap your mama should have told you. Hi,
I just cancelled my AAdvantage Citi card a month ago that I opened Feb. 2015. Would Citi typically let me open a new one so soon? I have exc. credit and open about 2 cards twice a year. (Just opened 2 a month ago…on of which is a Citi Thank You card.) TIA!
With Citi, you have to wait 18 months after opening or closing a card before you can get the same exact one again. So, you’ll have to wait a year and a half unless the card you had was in some way different from the new one.

The Alaska Visa now comes with one free checked bag (good for up to six travelers on the same reservation).
Thanks! I’ll add that in.
The application link to British Airways 50,000 points with no annual fee does not work, is there another link?
Thanks for letting us know! We’ll update the page soon. For now, here’s a link that waives the first year fee and gives the 50K offer: https://applynow.chase.com/FlexAppWeb/renderApp.do?SPID=FFGB&CELL=6H90&PROMO=DF01
I have the AA Platinum Select but it is a ‘World Elite’ Mastercard.
Is the AA Platinum Select now just a ‘World’ Mastercard?
Not major difference but I have used the Elite benefit to upgrade Rental Car status.
Good question. I think it is currently just the AAdvantage Executive card that is a World Mastercard
Some of these seem like they would change a lot in their order if you were able to meet the ‘big spend’ bonuses for them. Maybe add a way to sort by value if you meet that? Then again some are hard to quantify but can be extremely valuable to some (like those Delta MQMs which are enough for an entire FF reward tier).
That would be nice, but I’d like to keep it simple for now.
Please update the calculation for the Barclay Lufthansa Miles & More card. The current offer only provides a 20,000 mile bonus after first purchase. It no longer has an additional 30,000 miles for any amount of spend. If there still is a 50k miles offer, please tell me how to apply for it, as the link on this page does not have it. Thanks!
Thanks for letting us know. Unfortunately I cannot find another 50K version of the offer. It does surface every so often, but for now 20K seems to be the best. I have updated everything to reflect the lower bonus.
